Meena Ardebili

Meena Ardebili is a Queens-born, Long Island raised teacher, farmer, and facilitator who currently lives in Brooklyn (unceded Lenape Munsee lands). She joined PRY in 2019 and received her Master in Public Health in 2023 from CUNY’s School of Public Health. At PRY, Meena works with elementary, middle, and high school-aged youth, and teaches comprehensive, non-oppressive health and sex ed. Meena also runs the garden club at PRY, where young people learn about different plants and how they play a role in our everyday lives. Outside of PRY, she grows vegetables and flowers and studies traditional plant-based folk and herbal medicines. Meena works to combine these two interests in her life and believes that getting young people to connect to the outside world is as integral to health as sex ed.
