Street Outreach And Tabling

Project SAFE peer educators are trained to perform street outreach which includes community needs assessments, condom distribution, street referrals, making and maintaining relationships with community members, and general information distribution In addition to street outreach, Peer Educators are also trained to attend community events such as street fairs, conferences, or performances and provide information on teen health, referrals to services for youth to teen-friendly health centers, prevention techniques and tools, as well as program information.
